Could Jim Sturgess play baelfire? He has the same look and mannerisms as the young version. Plus he is one hell of an actor and being absolutely adorable doesnt hurt either.
He does look a lot like Dylan Schmid, but unfortunately I don’t think he would be interested in doing a tv series at this point in his career. :(
